Want to feel amazing all year round?
I have touched on this topic in an earlier lesson but this is a little broader.
So let’s say you’ve got yourself a bunch of one year goals in 2022.
You want to do 10 things.
Then you’ve decided in the next 90 days, you would like to start ALL of them.
That sounds like a good idea… If you want them all done by the end of the year, start them all now, right?
Actually that’s not a great idea at all.
This would mean you need to chop and change and divide your energy and attention between all of them.
How often do we get to the end of the year and feel like we didn’t get it all done, or the goal is just out of reach?
Let’s flip the old way on its head.
Getting a kick out of achieving one, and then another and then another.
Go full out on one thing. Achieve it.
Then move onto the next thing.
This way you can focus your attention on a single activity.
You will be more productive because there’ll be less context changing between different things.
Plus, you will feel amazing all year long
Sometimes you have to have things running in parallel, I get that.
But where you can limit that you’re actually more likely to hit those goals.
So just because you want to achieve that thing this year, doesn’t mean you have to start it right now.
Short, sharp goals are much more achievable.
Parallel goals can feel tedious and like you aren’t getting anywhere all year.
Don’t you want to feel amazing all year by continuously hitting goals?
Now setting goals is great, but one of the struggles I hear from business owners and leaders is that they just feel like they are constantly in chaos. Juggling and wondering what they got done each day.
Which makes doing the right things to reach those goals challenging.
