I’m Overwhelmed Too
I sometimes think that people believe because I teach people about overcoming overwhelm and being more organised and achieving more while going slow that I never get overwhelmed.
but let me let you in on a little secret…
i’m human, just like you and sometimes I get overwhelmed too
In the last couple of months I’ve been creating a new business. Some of you would have already noticed the new Organise Yourself branding coming through in the things we are doing.
It hasn’t been a straightforward creation of a business either, I’m decoupling some things from my existing Pro SMART business into this new business.
That adds complexity
Everything takes longer than you want it to
Things don’t always work and it’s super frustrating
And for a minute there, well maybe a little longer than a minute 😉 I let myself get caught up in it all.
Wanting it all done yesterday, things not happening fast enough, not enough hours in the day!
Yep, I was saying all those thing and more to myself.
Luckily I’ve been doing this for long enough that I pulled myself up, fairly quickly… probably not as quickly as I should, but I got there…
The important thing is accepting that in life there are circumstances and times when we sometimes are going to feel a little overwhelmed.
The trick is knowing how to pull yourself out and having some go to techniques that are proven to move you out as quick as possible.
There are a number of things that are my Go To techniques to make sure I bring myself back on track.
Overwhelm is nothing more than a state of mind. So I need to address the three major causes of overwhelm so I can create less chaos in my mind, to bring clarity and sense of peace.
These are the things that hold us in overwhelm.
Now to create a life that is ‘mostly’ free from overwhelm and chaos there are a bunch of things you should incorporate into your lifestyle, mind body and spirit.
But when you’re in that state and you just need to start pulling yourself free, a kick start.
